Converse Star Player Ox Remix

We at blcklistd don’t normally get excited about Converse however, for these beauties we can make an exception. As the saying goes, “its all in the details” and the details is where Converse scores highly with these kicks.

The Star Player Ox Remix augments a premium design with a lightweight nylon upper. The suede chevron star logo compliments the upper which sits on top of a white vulcanized sole. Other stand-outs includes a padded collar lining and where they score big is on the  matching chevron details on the midsole.

Blackberry 10

Introduced by Research In Motion (RIM) CEO Thorsten Heins Shown during the Blackberry World 2012 keynote, this clip showcases the new platform from Blackberry.

Whilst some might argue that its a little too late from Blackberry (given their current demise) it is with hope and third-party developer’s input that the launch of Blackberry 10 can yet save the ailing fortunes of RIM.

The Dark Knight Rises

This Summer sees the conclusion to the trilogy of the Dark Knight. Starring Christian Bale as the famed Dark Knight hero Batman, he is pitted against one of his biggest adversary in Bane - acted by Tom Hardy. The film also introduces newcomer Joseph Gorden-Levitt to the Dark Knight franchise as well as the return of Michael Caine (Alfred), Gary Oldman (Commissioner Gordon) and Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox). Anne Hathaway also star as Selina Kyle with her alter-ego Catwoman. 

The previous trailers which can be view here has wetted the appetite of fans who have been eagerly awaiting what can most arguably be described as Summer’s biggest blockbuster for 2012.

Mansome

“Since the dawn of time, Men have pursued it, Women have yearned for it, But what makes a Man?”

Produced by Will Arnett and Jason Bateman, and from the man who brought “Supersize Me” to our screen, Morgan Spurlock, Mansome is a movie that discusses men of the modern age and what it means to be one (with a comical edge). Or more specifically, what it takes to be “Mansome” - both manly and handsome.

Models, actors, experts and comedians all weigh in on their own take of it is to be a man in a world where the definition varies from a hipster’s facial hair to the aftershave they use. 

There is no confirmed release date in the UK at this point however enjoy the comics from the trailer above.

Opening Ceremony in London Opening Ceremony will be opening a ‘pop-up’ store at King Street in London’s Covent Garden sometime in late July/early August in time for the Olympics. It is stated that the store will be stocking brands such as Kenzo and Rodarte as well its own brand. Included in the pop-up will be special commissioned items made exclusively from the likes of adidas, Christopher Shannon and Band of Outsiders to name a few.
